Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of directly related experience.
• Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline.
• Proficient knowledge of banking products, credit associated lending and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Commercial Lender in the loan documentation process, closing loans, perfecting liens, maintaining credit and collateral files and processing payments and advances.
• Complete loan documentation checklist, order lien searches, title commitments, O&E's and flood reviews.
• Respond to customer inquiries about existing commercial or consumer loans.
• Close new and renewed commercial loans and ensure accurate execution of all documents and receipt of all fees.
• Input new and renewed loans including collecting and tracking of loan fees to ensure proper income reporting.
• Process requests for loan advances using Bankers. Verify availability of funds, maturity date and borrowing base availability to ensure proper credit of requested funds.
• Prepare GL tickets manually on loan payments, advances, loan fees, recording and related fees and transfers and send to proof department.
• Daily post loan advances and payments.
• Process refunds of overpayments on loan payoffs to ensure accurate balancing.
