About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Commercial Lender at our O’Fallon or Shiloh branch (location will be determined based on the selected candidate). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a loan portfolio while maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have strong credit analysis skills, a thorough understanding of loan documentation, and a commitment to providing excellent service while identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in banking or lending.
• Strong credit analysis skills and financial statement interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products, policies, procedures, and loan documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit information and financial statements to assess lending opportunities.
• Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor the financial soundness and performance of new credits.
• Maintain and build a strong loan portfolio through relationship development.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and support bank growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service while developing long-term client relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
