About The Position

The Senior Sales Trainer at Intuitive will play a pivotal role in enhancing the knowledge and skills of the sales representatives through the development, creation, and delivery of training content. This position requires collaboration with various departments, including Sales Training, Clinical Education, Field Sales, Sales Management, and Marketing, to formulate and implement a comprehensive training strategy tailored to the needs of the ISI Sales Team. The Senior Sales Trainer will be responsible for creating agendas, curricula, and training materials for all Clinical and Sales Training initiatives at Intuitive Surgical. This includes the presentation and delivery of technical and sales materials, which encompass selling skills, sales management training, presentation skills, and product sales presentations. In addition to sales training, the role involves demonstrating a thorough understanding of best practices across key surgical specialties such as general surgery, gynecologic surgery, cardiac surgery, and urology. The Senior Sales Trainer will also be expected to educate personnel and conduct customer in-services on the da Vinci® Surgical Systems, ensuring that all training aligns with the highest standards of clinical practice. Administrative responsibilities include forecasting annual training programs to support organizational growth and measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives through comprehensive program analysis and reporting. This position is crucial for fostering a knowledgeable sales team that can effectively communicate the value propositions of Intuitive's innovative surgical systems, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of advancing minimally invasive care.
