About The Position

Foster Plumbing, a Crete United Company, established in 1996, is a commercial plumbing contractor serving the Denver metro area. The company is seeking a Commercial Lead Plumber with a current Colorado Journeyworker or Master Plumber license and a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial plumbing. This role involves leading crews, ensuring jobsite safety and OSHA compliance, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and executing work according to specifications. Responsibilities also include efficient material management, cost control, proper documentation, tracking labor and material performance, and maintaining high-quality workmanship and crew productivity. Daily tasks encompass installation and replacement of drain and water lines, water heaters, tenant improvements, commercial bathroom renovations, underground rough-ins, small ground-up construction, and core drilling. The ideal candidate is a dependable, positive leader with a strong work ethic, punctuality, ownership of tasks, and a teaching mindset.

Requirements

  • Current Colorado Journeyworker or Master Plumber license
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial plumbing
  • Strong experience with commercial plumbing systems
  • Proven ability to lead crews and run jobsites
  • Ability to read and execute work from blueprints and specs
  • Professional communication and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license & ability to pass a background check
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Supply basic hand tools
  • Driver's License with no DUI/DWAI in past 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Rough-in and underground experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead crews and represent Foster Plumbing professionally on jobsites
  • Ensure jobsite safety, OSHA compliance, and proper PPE usage
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and building engineers
  • Review and execute work per approved drawings, submittals, and specifications
  • Order and manage materials efficiently; control jobsite costs
  • Proper Documentation for job notes, RFIs, change orders, and daily photos
  • Track labor and material performance and communicate needs proactively
  • Maintain quality workmanship, schedule awareness, and crew productivity
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
