This position requires a strong focus on safety and compliance due to the environment.

Requirements

• Journeymen: 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Top Helpers: 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Skilled in ductwork installation, system layout, and mechanical support tasks
• Must be able to work safely at heights with safety harnesses
• Must pass all FBI/BCI background checks
• Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Installing and assembling commercial HVAC systems
• Running and installing ductwork, including flex and sheet metal
• Assisting with equipment setting, hangers, and layout support
• Working at heights with proper safety harnesses (required)
• Following all school-site safety protocols and guidelines
• Completing work in accordance with project specifications and mechanical codes
