As a Commercial Journeyman Plumber at RLP, you will be a critical part of our new-construction plumbing team. You’ll work on large-scale commercial projects from rough-in to final installation and ensure our work is completed with precision, efficiency, and safety. Requirements
- Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (required)
- 2–6+ years of commercial plumbing experience, preferably on new construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial systems, tools, and installation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently, solve problems on the job, and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Professional communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience or interest in mentoring apprentices is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install new commercial and industrial plumbing systems on ground-up construction projects
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Inspect work, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements
- Ensure plumbing installations meet code, quality, and efficiency standards
- Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, GC’s, and other trades to keep schedules on track
