Work Scope:

HVAC Mechanics will be working on a school project in Durham, NC. Candidates must be highly skilled sheet metal installers with strong mechanical abilities and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Strong sheet metal ductwork installation skills
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings
• Must provide own HVAC hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism

Nice To Haves

• OSHA training
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Installing, hanging, and assembling sheet metal ductwork (rectangular, spiral, and flex)
• Reading and interpreting HVAC blueprints, layout drawings, and mechanical plans
• Setting HVAC equipment as needed
• Working efficiently through rough-in and finish phases
• Maintaining jobsite safety and following mechanical installation standards
