Work Scope: Journeyman HVAC Mechanics will be supporting multiple commercial projects around Houston, TX, moving between sites as needed. This contractor is seeking experienced HVAC mechanics with strong ductwork skills and a willingness to assist wherever needed. Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Strong ductwork installation experience required
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and mechanical layouts
• Must be willing to travel between multiple job sites in Houston
• Must provide own HVAC hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong focus on safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Installing, hanging, and assembling sheet metal ductwork (rectangular, spiral, round, and flex)
• Setting HVAC equipment, RTUs, VAVs, and air distribution components
• Assisting with layout, reading blueprints, and routing mechanical systems
• Working efficiently while jumping between jobs across the Houston area
• Ensuring all work meets code, project specifications, and quality standards
• Maintaining productivity, jobsite safety, and a professional work ethic
