Requirements
- 4-5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- Strong sheet metal and ductwork installation skills
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC blueprints and mechanical plans
- Experience installing both HVAC and architectural sheet metal
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Scissor lift certification required
- Aerial/fall protection certification required
- Must provide own HVAC tools and regular PPE
- Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong focus on safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism
Responsibilities
- On-site installation, assembly, and alteration of sheet metal systems
- Installing HVAC ductwork (square, spiral, flex)
- Installing and modifying architectural sheet metal (roofing, siding, trim, etc.)
- Reading construction blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Troubleshooting installation issues as they arise
- Operating scissor lifts and aerial lifts safely
- Working at heights with proper fall protection
- Following all jobsite and safety protocols
- Wearing standard PPE at all times (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
