About The Position
CCS Construction Staffing is seeking Commercial Journeyman Electricians for a commercial project in Fort Myers, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor, perform detailed conduit work, and continue advancing your electrical career through skilled, hands-on experience in commercial construction. Work Scope: Responsibilities include running EMT conduit, bending pipe (1" to 1¼"), performing some 2" rigid work, pulling wire, and installing exposed conduit systems. Electricians must be able to bend pipe accurately using hand benders and maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations. Candidates should be physically capable of performing conduit work throughout the day and have a solid understanding of safe electrical practices. The foreman is bilingual, and Spanish speakers are welcome, but candidates must be able to understand and communicate in English at a conversational level for safety purposes. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Skilled in running and bending EMT and rigid conduit (1"-1¼", some 2")
- Proficient with hand benders and conduit layout
- Experience with exposed conduit and wire pulling
- Must understand English at a conversational level (bilingual preferred)
- Must provide own tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
- Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Strong focus on safety, precision, and reliability
