About The Position

We are currently hiring for a rapidly expanding commercial cleaning company originally founded in Puerto Rico and now growing our footprint across Florida. We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new contract sales, build strategic partnerships, and secure long-term commercial janitorial accounts. This role is ideal for someone who understands the facilities services market and is ready to take ownership of growth in a new territory.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • 3–5 years of proven success in business development or sales , ideally in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or service-contract industries.
  • Strong understanding of janitorial services, labor costs, scopes of work, and pricing models.
  • Confident in conducting walkthroughs, preparing proposals, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close new commercial janitorial contracts across office buildings, retail centers, medical facilities, warehouses, HOAs, and other commercial properties.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads through cold outreach, networking, in-person visits, and industry events.
  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and present service solutions to decision-makers.
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and business associations.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Track activity, pipeline, and results using CRM tools and provide weekly progress reports.
  • Represent the brand professionally as we expand from Puerto Rico into the U.S. market.
