The Commercial Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to work with experienced and inspiring leaders in challenging projects across GE Appliances' Marketing & Sales organizations. Upon completion of the summer internship, interns will have the ability to interview for a full-time position post-graduation in our Commercial Development Program.

Requirements

• Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a 4 year-college or university program pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or related field.
• Must be able to work 40 hrs per week for the duration of the internship.
• Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and trend analysis.
• Analyze competitive cross shop and go to market strategies.
• Develop product cross reference guides.
• Perform social media deep dives and enhancement recommendations.
• Create documentation and training material.
• Develop marketing content and materials.
• Create training content and materials.
• Develop promotional sales events dashboards and reporting.
• Support product line review development financial plans and promotional planning scenarios.
• Learn GEA product portfolio to enhance summer experience performance.
• Support product line reviews and development of PowerPoints and marketing assets.
