Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer or similar sales role within the insurance industry.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build a network, negotiate effectively, and close sales successfully.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
- A commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in CRM tools and insurance agency management software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for prospecting, selling, and closing new commercial insurance clients.
- Identify clients' unique insurance needs, assess their risks, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Actively pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products or services to existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to process paperwork, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accuracy in coverage documentation.
- Monitor trends within the insurance and business markets to provide proactive advice and risk management strategies.
- Establish measurable sales goals and consistently meet or exceed them.
- Represent the organization in community and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Continuously update knowledge of insurance products, market conditions, and legislation to remain an industry expert.
