The Commercial Insurance Producer is responsible for conducting sales presentations and maintaining a book of business consisting of small, low-risk accounts. This role involves a high frequency of sales work aimed at generating sales profits. The producer will conduct cold calls, develop complex sales proposals, and close sales deals by negotiating values and pricing structures that align with both business and client needs. Additionally, the producer will conduct thorough due diligence research to identify prospect accounts and sales expansion opportunities, participate in client meetings to gain insights into larger accounts, and maintain account relationships to ensure the business is viewed as a preferred vendor. The role also includes overseeing the sales process to ensure service quality and satisfaction, growing a professional network, and participating in sales training and professional development courses.
