About The Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to support our commercial insurance operations. This role is responsible for assisting clients and internal teams with policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and general account maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and experienced in handling commercial insurance accounts while delivering a high level of customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in commercial insurance customer service or account servicing preferred.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages such as General Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, Professional Liability, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Service commercial insurance accounts by processing endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, and reinstatements in accordance with IT team and policies.
  • Assist with renewals, including gathering updated information, preparing applications, and coordinating with underwriting or carriers.
  • Issue and manage certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage.
  • Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding coverage, policy status, billing, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records in agency management systems.
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in tracking renewals and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams via email and phone.
  • Support the commercial sales team with administrative and servicing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Call on partnership inquiries and give online demos of partnership dashboards, follow up and track revenue per partnership.
