Requirements

  • Proven experience as an account manager, customer service representative, or similar role within the commercial insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of clients and team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using agency management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance on commercial insurance coverage options, ensuring clients have adequate protection tailored to their needs.
  • Process new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist clients with filing claims, including gathering necessary information and coordinating with insurance carriers.
  • Serve as the point of contact to resolve client inquiries and address coverage questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulation changes, and new insurance products to offer clients the best solutions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and policy management.
  • Monitor and track expiration dates to ensure timely renewals and prevent lapses in coverage.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to provide clients with additional value and strengthen their insurance portfolios.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
