About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a team. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a Department Manager position by 2027, following a comprehensive 12-month training period. Requirements

• Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance.
• Strong leadership potential and a desire to manage a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience or project management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AMS360 software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service and manage a mid-sized generalist commercial book of business.
• Quote new and renewal business as required.
• Undergo a structured 12-month training program to transition into the Department Manager role.
• Lead and manage a team of three professionals starting in 2027.
• Continue managing a small portfolio of high-profile accounts while overseeing the department.
• Collaborate with the current Department Manager during the training period to ensure a seamless transition.
