About The Position

Commercial Install Manager - Richmond, VA 123 Equipment Solutions, a Tech24 subsidiary is a full-service commercial kitchen equipment repair company. We provide complete foodservice equipment maintenance and repair services for restaurants, QSRs, convenience stores, retailers, coffee shops, and concessions operations; specializing in commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. We are a nationwide company, headquartered in Greenville, SC with local branches located coast to coast. The Commercial Install Manager is responsible for creating estimates, building jobs, and overseeing a team of Install Technicians to and from customer sites to load, transport, and install commercial kitchen equipment. The Manager will also provide coaching and guidance to Technicians in addition to having the technical skills to assist when needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • HVAC and/or EPA Universal Certifications
  • 2 + years of Management experience
  • 5+ years of similar job experience
  • Must have Electrical and Building Code knowledge
  • Ability read Blueprints and conduct estimates
  • OSHA Certified
  • Ability to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and maintains a high level of credibility with the entire company and customers.
  • Inspire the teams positively to achieve the goals set forth and to maintain Tech24 standards
  • Conduct Site Surveys and Estimates for commercial HVAC, refrigeration and foodservice equipment.
  • Inspects the commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
  • Ensure all equipment is installed according to manufacturer’s instructions and local codes
  • Communicates with customer and branch office regarding status of installs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.
  • Manages an install team consisting of 8-10 technicians
  • Completes service tickets according to procedures.
  • Oversees assigned service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy.
  • Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.
  • Potential travel to NC and VA markets
