About The Position

Are you an experienced Electrical Manager ready to lead a team in a company that values your growth? We're looking for a Commercial Install Electrical Field Manager to oversee our Commercial Install Team. In this role, you will be accountable for the profit/loss, sales, and overall operations of the division. You will develop strong processes, lead a team, and ensure top-notch performance and customer satisfaction. As a Commercial Install Electrical Field Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical professionals, developing processes, and managing all aspects of your division. You will work closely with other departments to achieve company goals and will be responsible for recruiting and developing your team. Your expertise in electrical, management, and project coordination will be essential to your success.

Requirements

• 10-15 years’ experience in management and installation of commercial electrical systems.
• Experience working on commercial electrical job sites.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Experience in estimating and proposal writing.
• General knowledge of material purchasing and price negotiation.
• Ability to lead, give direction, provide feedback, and manage people, including hiring and firing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Electrical Estimator with site evaluations and estimate reviews.
• Create and present estimates to customers on fast-turnaround projects.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and monthly check-ins with direct reports.
• Lead monthly department meetings to review performance and share company information.
• Establish labor needs and work with the Talent Acquisition team to hire new employees.
• Assign labor numbers and employees to jobs on a weekly basis.
• Attend work-in-progress (WIP) financial meetings.
• Coordinate equipment (trailers, lifts, etc.) for job sites.
• Interact and coordinate with Commercial HVAC and Electrical Install departments.
• Oversee material procurement through the Purchasing department.
• Work with project coordinators to acquire permits, coordinate job progress, manage billing, and handle project closeout.
