RLP Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead HVAC Sheet Metal Installer / Foreman to oversee commercial ductwork and sheet metal installations across the Greater DFW area. If you're a proven leader with a strong background in HVAC sheet metal, this is your opportunity to join a respected mechanical contractor with over 15 years of consistent growth and top-tier client partnerships.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
• 4+ years in a lead installer, foreman, or supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal installation best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• VRF system experience
• EPA certification

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of HVAC installers on commercial sheet metal and ductwork projects.
• Ensure top-quality, code-compliant installations that meet or exceed project specs and deadlines.
• Work directly with project managers and general contractors to keep projects running smoothly.
• Mentor and train apprentices and junior installers—build a solid team that performs with pride.
• Maintain detailed records of job progress, materials, and hours.
• Occasionally travel within Texas for out-of-area projects.
