About The Position

This position is for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician at a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor. The company is known for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions, offering integrated, single-source solutions including turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, engineering applications, and automated control systems. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing/troubleshooting HVAC systems.

Requirements

5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC
Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License
Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
Strong oral and written communication required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
