Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Perform complex repairs efficiently to restore proper functioning and minimize downtime for our business clients. • Commercial and Residential Maintenance Services: Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on commercial-grade equipment, including coil cleaning, belt replacement, lubricating, and adjusting components to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. • Installation Support: Assist with the installation of new commercial HVAC systems, including handling heavy equipment, navigating rooftop environments, running commercial ductwork, and connecting electrical components under the guidance of senior technicians. • Professional Client Interaction: Interact with facility managers, business owners, and on-site contacts in a professional manner. Provide clear explanations of services performed and recommendations for system longevity. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of commercial services performed, including detailed work orders, service reports, and inventory usage. Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely and organized manner. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols (including ladder safety, rooftop safety, and lockout/tagout) to ensure a safe environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers.
Requirements
- Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience as a technician, with a strong preference for Commercial HVAC experience (RTUs, light commercial, etc.). BAS experience is a plus.
- Licensing: Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
- Background: Must be able to pass a background check.
- Tools: Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute HVAC and light plumbing/piping jobs.
- Safety Gear: Ability to wear company-approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal, or OSHA regulations.
- Work Environment: This job operates in a construction/commercial site environment. Work is frequently performed on rooftops and may be outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- Efficiency: Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company’s standard timeframe.
