Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a highly experienced Industrial HVAC Service Technician with at least 10 years of commercial service experience . This role is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys working on a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, with a focus on service and repair. The right candidate will be a chiller expert with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience .
- Strong knowledge of chiller service, cooling towers, pumps, rooftop units, commercial split systems, and refrigeration systems.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment, including: Chillers (air-cooled & water-cooled)
- Cooling towers
- Pumps
- Rooftop package units
- Commercial split systems
- Refrigeration equipment
- Provide mentorship and share technical knowledge with junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the IC Mechanical team.
- Occasionally perform small retrofit replacements (rare).
- Primarily work within the Tampa Bay area, with occasional short-term travel (volunteer basis, all expenses paid).
