About The Position

Great opportunity for commercial Service Technicians! DWC Mechanical is expanding their Tampa location and looking for a highly experienced Service Technician to help grow the service department. DWC Mechanical has provided mechanical contracting services to Western New York for over 30 years, becoming one of the most well-known and respected names in the business! We're looking for the right team member to join our second location in Tampa. DWC is also a NexCore partner, with over 18 locations throughout the US! Position Overview The HVAC Service Technician will perform maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, assist the installation team occasionally with service-related duties, help support and generate new business. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.

Requirements

8 or more years’ experience in a HVAC Service Role
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems service, repair and maintenance
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work standard business hours
Excellent problem-solving skills
Organized and detail oriented
Customer service skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

Certification in HVAC or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment; furnaces, RTU's, makeup air units, heat pumps, condensers, controls, etc.
Perform maintenance and repairs when needed
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults within HVAC equipment
Communicate with clients to ensure work is completed to their satisfaction
Must be on time and ready to complete the task at hand
Submit required paperwork on a daily basis
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, tools, and equipment
Ability to use the required tools to complete the required task
Follow all safety protocols
Understand and wear personal protection equipment (PPE)
Follow all established procedures and standards communicated by management
