The Service Technician IV is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This position requires travel as needed.
Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot various commercial systems, including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.
Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and in writing.
Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps, and air quality systems,
Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and in writing.
High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
OSHA 10 Preferred
EPA Certified
Valid Driver’s License
Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.
