About The Position

Commercial HVAC Service Estimator – Description We are seeking a Service Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing repair and service estimates, supporting sales efforts, and providing technical guidance to technicians and customers. The ideal candidate brings strong HVAC or electrical service knowledge along with the ability to build accurate, competitive quotes. Key Responsibilities Prepare repair and service estimates within company pricing guidelines Research replacement components and system solutions for obsolete equipment Update quotes based on customer needs to support successful project sales Compare vendor pricing to ensure competitive estimates Work with technicians to develop accurate labor estimates Provide technical support to field technicians as needed Support customer visits with sales staff Assist with small project coordination and billing support Provide occasional backup support for dispatch operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of service estimating experience
• 5+ years in a sales or customer-facing service role
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and web-based systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
