About The Position

Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, a premier full-service Plumbing & Mechanical Contractor, is seeking a full time Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Project Manager to oversee projects ranging from $250K to $5M throughout Michigan. The projects range from commercial buildings to large multi-family renovation & new construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (5) years experience in plumbing & HVAC project management. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team! Requirements

Proven experience in project management in the plumbing & HVAC field.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools.
Possess deep understanding of projects for efficient material ordering, subcontracting, billing, and management of RFI's, change orders, and submittals.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Leads efforts to promote and uphold workplace safety standards.
Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks and milestones.
Coordinate with field team members, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
