About The Position
CCS Construction Staffing is seeking an HVAC Helper for a critical facility project in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable contractor, assist skilled mechanics on a high-security jobsite, and gain valuable hands-on experience in the HVAC trade. The HVAC Helper will assist mechanics with the installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, and related components in a critical facility. This position requires exceptional reliability and professionalism. Must be able to be badged for a critical facility, which includes fingerprinting and an extensive background check (no time limit on review period). Due to very specific scheduling and entry procedures, employees must arrive on time every day. Dependability and punctuality are essential for maintaining access privileges and workflow on-site. Requirements
- 1-3 years of HVAC or construction experience preferred
- Ability to assist with duct installation, material handling, and general labor support
- Must have strong attention to detail and follow direction from lead mechanics
- Must be able to pass fingerprinting and a full background check for facility clearance
- Must be on time every day due to restricted access scheduling
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Must provide own PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
- Must pass any required drug screenings
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and dependability
Responsibilities
