Perform start-ups, warranty repairs, owner training, reactive service, and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC/R equipment including chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, VFDs, and associated controls for manufacturers on our line card. Role Snapshot: We are seeking a self-motivated professional responsible for HVAC startup, warranty repair, and maintenance. This role requires collaboration with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and Customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (driving is an essential function)
  • Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 training
  • 5+ years of commercial HVACR service experience
  • Electrical knowledge required; EPA Universal Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computing devices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Startup experience across various HVAC equipment brands preferred
  • Chiller and cooling tower experience preferred
  • Electrical knowledge required; EPA Universal Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure peak performance
  • Perform preventive maintenance and startup of newly installed equipment
  • Follow proper procedures and complete required documentation
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs
  • Interpret engineering drawings for system layout and operation
  • Represent the company professionally with other trades, contractors, and owners
  • Advise owners on preventive maintenance and corrective actions
  • Recommend additional services beneficial to the customer
  • Work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Submit paperwork to service coordinators in a timely manner
  • Work safely and follow all safety requirements
  • Following directives from Field Supervisor and Service Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required
