Requirements

3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
Solid knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and mechanical codes
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew and delegate tasks
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Physical ability to regularly stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and work in active construction environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawlspaces, and elevated areas)

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification
Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent experience
Experience as a foreman or similar supervisory position on commercial projects
Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects
Experience with VRF systems, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, or controls integration

Responsibilities

Planning daily activities and assigning tasks to crew members
Coordinating HVAC installations according to blueprints, specifications, and engineered plans
Overseeing installation of duct systems, equipment setting, refrigerant piping, ventilation systems, and controls components
Ensuring all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and quality expectations
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, engineers, inspectors, and other trade professionals to ensure consistency across all project stages
Training apprentices and junior installers
Managing materials, equipment, and jobsite resources
Swiftly addressing roadblocks and solving problems to keep projects on track and within budget
Assisting with system startup, punch lists, and final project completion
Keeping the work area as clean, safe, and organized as possible
