Commercial HVAC Boiler Technician
About The Position
Mesa Energy Systems is a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Their integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, engineering applications, and automated control systems. Mesa Energy Systems has an immediate need for a Boiler Technician. This role involves following preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing all boiler controls and system components.
Requirements
- Must have completed 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling
- Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience
- Must be available for emergency call outs
- Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
- Rule 1415 certified
- Valid driver's license in good standing
Nice To Haves
- EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens)
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily operations of boilers.
- Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
- Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
- Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
- Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
- Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
- Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
