Requirements

  • No prior commercial HVAC experience required — this is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to start their career in the commercial HVAC industry; we provide training and support for the right candidate.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • EPA Universal Certification will be required within 60 days; additional certifications (e.g., NATE, OSHA) are a plus.
  • Willingness to learn troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in HVAC systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret technical information with guidance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and desire to grow in the trade
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, and handle physical tasks associated with commercial HVAC work.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as well as a clean background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventative services to maximize system efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and explaining work performed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
