Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in construction, installation, or general labor
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced installers
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the trades or mechanical work
- Familiarity with power tools and basic hand tools
- Experience operating scissor lifts or boom lifts or willingness to learn
- Interest in developing into a full installer role over time
Responsibilities
- Assist installers with the setup, installation, and service of commercial and residential garage doors
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools at job sites
- Drive company vehicles and safely pull a trailer loaded with tools and equipment as needed
- Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and well maintained
- Learn installation techniques and product knowledge from senior team members
- Support the team in troubleshooting and completing jobs efficiently
- Represent Jacobs Overhead Door with professionalism and a strong work ethic
