The Commercial Director will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from an assigned portfolio of existing customers within the Enterprise segment. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, strategic problem-solving, and delivering measurable business outcomes for both the company and its clients.

Requirements

  • Progressive years selling solutions in the Digital Commerce space (SaaS or full service)
  • Terrific collaborator who excels at working cross functionally across internal teams (product, client success) to achieve targets
  • Proven history of quota attainment for renewal and growth targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Experience at identifying key personas and generating interest for additional products via a consultative approach
  • Strong discovery skills and adept at identifying customer challenges and connecting them to product/service solutions
  • Process oriented experience mastering and following a sales playbook
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to explain the power of a product or solution to a client

Responsibilities

  • Commercial and strategic responsibility for achieving renewal and growth targets across the portfolio
  • Creation and execution of an account portfolio, and ownership of forecasting and plan to achieve growth targets
  • Ability to build a sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Drive new opportunities with the largest customers and employ a proven sales process that demonstrates business value, promotes products, and drives incremental revenue
  • Generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue that achieves/exceeds individual quota
  • Create demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to the right solutions within the suite of products
  • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional stakeholders including Client Service, Product, Solutions Engineering, Billing, and Marketing
  • Own all commercial aspects of the client relationship, positioning as a consultative partner
  • Prepare and deliver personalized product demonstrations and presentations based on prospect/client KPIs and business goals
  • Log and maintain all opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring information is accurate and always updated
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and product updates
