Winpak Films is seeking a Commercial Graphics Coordinator to join their Customer Service Department based out of Senoia, GA on a full-time onsite basis. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between customers and the print manufacturing operation, ensuring artwork, print jobs, deadlines, and technical specifications are successfully adopted onto customers' packaging. This position is a 50% customer service and 50% graphics role, requiring expertise in graphic design, customer interaction, and order management. Your contributions will directly support Winpak's commitment to high-quality packaging solutions and exceptional customer service.

  • Communicate directly with area sales managers and customers to collect artwork requirements and brand owner information.
  • Support the area sales team in negotiating design modifications to facilitate successful adoption by Winpak pre-press specialists.
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination among customers, sales managers, customer service, graphics, and manufacturing teams.
  • Provide technical support and guidance regarding artwork specifications and pre-press processes.
  • Lead documentation of grid test results and apply findings to new print designs.
  • Prepare digital concept proofs and communicate with customers for early-stage prototyping and feasibility.
  • Manage art approval workflows for packaging and graphics projects.
  • Conduct content review for spelling, kerning, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Modify and enhance existing art approval processes, reports, and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Work with marketing to create digital collateral, including logos, brochures, sell sheets, website graphics, and social media visuals.
  • Assist in standard print cost assessments and recommend potential changes to improve accuracy.
  • Manage artwork portfolios, tracking submissions, approvals, and revisions.
  • Provide customer service support, including managing stocking programs and processing release orders.
  • Coordinate information flow between Production Control, Sales, Shipping, Credit, Purchasing, and accounting departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Communications, Printing Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in print and graphics commercial activities.
  • Experience with direct customer communication and sales team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Strong knowledge of color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in plastics or packaging print processes.
  • Advanced skills in 3D rendering and digital concept proofing.
  • Familiarity with print SKU optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role.
