About The Position

The CF Sales Director leads the sales and customer service teams of our Commercial Fueling department, with responsibility for strategy, growth, performance improvement, and team development. Develop and execute strategies to grow new commercial accounts while maintaining existing customers. Drive the performance of the sales and customer service teams to meet established goals. Manage and review sales pipeline activity and customer contact records within the CRM system. Support customer relationships by meeting with key clients and assisting sales representatives with relationship management, negotiations, and closing new business. Maintain regular contact with customers to monitor satisfaction and communicate new site opportunities. Monitor account activity for volume changes and performance trends. Oversee reporting to track team productivity and performance. Identify and evaluate competitor activities, products, and value propositions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendors. Ensure KPIs are established for all team members and provide ongoing leadership through goal setting and performance monitoring. Promote staff development and a strong customer experience while driving continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of leadership
  • Prior P&L responsibility
  • Strong sales, communication, and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to quickly learn new systems
