About The Position

Are you organized, detail-driven, and love being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly? We’re looking for a Commercial Flooring Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling schedules, materials, and conversations — all while helping bring beautiful flooring projects to life! In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our commercial flooring jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and with top-notch quality. If you enjoy being part of a collaborative team, love problem-solving, and have a passion for delivering exceptional results, we’d love to meet you!

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (bonus points for a college degree)
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role — construction, flooring, or project coordination preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for keeping everyone in the loop
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask like a pro
  • Tech-savviness — you’re comfortable using Microsoft Office, and learning project management software won’t scare you
  • A collaborative spirit and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
  • Capacity to accurately read blueprint takeoffs and specifications.
  • Ability to adapt to new products and how they are used throughout a project.
  • Proficient with putting together submittals, bids, and pay applications.
  • High level of attention to detail and cost analysis
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Must exhibit professionalism, dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
  • Proven experience on commercial projects, with a strong understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software (procore) and tools, including scheduling and budgeting software.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional math and IT ability with an analytical mindset
  • Strong computer skills and adaptable to new software systems
  • 2+ years of commercial industry experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the central hub for project coordination — making sure installers, vendors, and clients all stay in sync
  • Scheduling commercial flooring installations and services, and ensuring all moving parts are aligned
  • Communicating with vendors to order and track materials, confirm delivery dates, and resolve hiccups along the way
  • Updating job tracking systems to reflect real-time progress on active projects
  • Providing top-tier customer service by addressing concerns quickly and professionally — during and after installation
  • Helping ensure project sites are set up for success, including compliance with safety and company standards
  • Managing post-installation support like warranty follow-ups and service tickets
  • Pitching in wherever needed to keep the team running like a well-oiled (and well-floored) machine!

Benefits

  • You’ll be part of a supportive, energetic team that values growth and innovation
  • Every day is different — one day you’re managing deliveries, the next you’re helping solve a puzzle on a big install
  • You’ll gain valuable experience in commercial project management and operations
  • We work hard, but we like to have fun doing it — team lunches, coffee runs, and floor puns are totally a thing here
