Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. The Commercial Finance Manager will be a key finance partner to the US Sales and Marketing organizations. They will be leading a team of two Financial Analysts driving insightful value-based analytics on commercial investment of ~$250MM annually by partnering with Commercial Team to maximize US Vision Care's performance and meet financial commitments. Other duties will include supporting new product introduction, leading investment strategies related to BME & Dx, and influencing strategic long-term financial decisions for J&J Vision e-commerce solutions (Acuvue Checkout & Shop). They will report to the US VC Finance Senior Manager and directly support the VP of Marketing as well as other US VC Leadership Team members to provide timely financial insights & updates.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years in progressive financial accounting and analysis experience is required.
  • A strong understanding of sales-related accounting and reserves is required
  • An analytical mentality along with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong business relationships is required
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and proactive idea generation is required
  • Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leadership is required
  • Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated financial information in an easy-to-follow manner is required
  • Ability to command and embrace change and handle risk and uncertainty is required
  • This position is located in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 10% travel

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CMA or CPA is preferred
  • Experience with statistical forecasting models and software (SAS, R, Minitab, Crystal Ball) is preferred
  • People leadership experience is preferred
  • SAP and TM1 knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analytics development for new product launches and e-commerce strategies being implemented by the business.
  • Leading investment strategies related to BME & Dx to maximize on allocated budgets.
  • Accurate completion of all quarter close responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX requirements
