Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with P&L responsibility, financial planning, and pricing management in the CPG industry; or related work experience with an industry supplier and wholesaler
  • Willing to travel 10-20%

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of the annual sales plan
  • Collaborate with business users and technical team members to develop detailed planning systems, design specifications and components to best optimize the planning process
  • Direct the planning process, maintenance, and implementation of new programs and/or processes to achieve organizational objectives and ensuring compliance with financial requirements within established timeframes
  • Analyze a variety of financial information providing direction and support, making recommendations and/or ensuring that overall operations are within budget
  • Complete financial analysis that provides new business insight by identifying trends, cost drivers, or opportunities to improve profitability
  • Manage and coordinate financial reporting and serve as financial reporting partner for cross functional projects
  • Prepare monthly financial reviews and reports for the leadership team
  • Compile data from a wide variety of sources for analyzing issues and proving insights
  • Create reporting metrics and analyze various data related to company performance
  • Coach and counsel team members; plan and monitor employee goals, and appraise performance
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
