Assists with recommendations on strategic projects that involve data gathering, business intelligence, report writing and execution. Assists with communicating recommendations derived from analysis with functional and senior leadership teams to drive change and shareholder value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel, Word and Access
• Demonstrated capability in handling highly complex analytical problems with ability to drive to insights and answers under deadlines.
• Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Up to 10% Travel Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with financial and strategic analysis leading to improved decision making, including ad-hoc analysis requests, developing new approaches to analysis, and creation of new reports utilizing new mechanisms.
• Supports annual planning processes, maintain updates on annual plan progress and report results.
• Participates and provides recommendations on strategic division led projects that may involve cross-functional groups and teams or engage with external vendors/suppliers. Ability to see beyond the basic project and provide guidance, raise issues, and resolve conflicts as necessary.
• Assists with generating and issuing recurring reports and leading defined monthly accounting tasks. Reports could be used in senior or executive management meetings and reviews. Recommends and develops new reports as needed when new analysis is required.
• Gathers internal and external information to inform the strategic supply network planning process. Analyzes new business opportunities by gathering necessary data and building financial models
• Assists with data management / business intelligence - maintaining, updating, upgrading, or expanding the data tools used for analysis and projects. If needed, identify new tools and work with team to incorporate them into the business.
