Skilled work installing, maintaining and servicing refrigeration, smoke evacuation and ventilation equipment as well as commercial electrical, gas and microwave appliances including stoves, ovens, tilt skillets, food conveyors, dishwashers, exhaust fans, washing machines, dryers, ironers and folders. Work includes adjusting and calibrating mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical controls kitchen and laundry equipment. Assignments are received in the form of oral instructions or written work orders and may be accompanied by sketches and blueprints. Works in a correctional facility with and around inmates.
