About The Position

E-MC Electrical is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites.

Requirements

• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) – REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and commercial installations
• Ability to work independently and on a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in industrial or large-scale commercial projects
• Familiarity with:
• Building automation systems
• Lighting systems
• Energy or power systems
• OSHA certification (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Run conduit, wire, and install panels, switchgear, and lighting systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure code compliance
• Work safely and efficiently on active job sites
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and team members
