About The Position

Northeastern Junior College is seeking applications for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Instructor who will serve as a classroom and practical instructor. Using college equipment and that provided through various Memorandum's of Understanding, the CDL Manager will provide courses for experienced and non-experienced drivers that include classroom and practical instruction on simulators and in vehicles. The courses will include the rigor necessary to prepare students to successfully pass licensing exams. Requirements

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (School Bus and Passenger Endorsements encouraged)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a CDL
• Teaching or training experience in education or industry
• Knowledge/experience with computer technology, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings
• Refined presentation and facilitation skills
• Valid driver's license
