About The Position

Job Brief We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team. You will be ultimately responsible for operating a variety of equipment types to clear and grind trees, limb, and other natural forest materials; as well as equipment used to manufacture mulches and soils. An equipment operator may be assigned to operate a track loader, wheel loader, excavator, or grinder. We expect equipment operators to operate our equipment in a safe and professional manner and to maintain a professional demeanor when engaging with customers and coworkers. A successful candidate for this position will ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule and as directed. Responsibilities

  • Perform pre/post service inspections on equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment as directed while on job locations or in company yards.
  • Complete daily service on equipment to include cleaning radiator/filters, cleaning equipment cab interior.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and submit daily (inspections reports, work orders, loader logs, etc.)
  • Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn at all times (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, & gloves).
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.
