The Commercial Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials to various destinations. This position requires adherence to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of vehicle maintenance and safety. The driver will be responsible for planning routes efficiently to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays. Additionally, the role involves interacting with clients and customers, providing excellent service and communication throughout the delivery process. Ultimately, the Commercial Driver contributes significantly to the operational success of the logistics and transportation sector by ensuring that products reach their destinations safely and on time. JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves hauling dry van and flatbed freight, with occasional log hauling. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Drivers must demonstrate professionalism, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. All runs are local daily runs Monday through Friday could include occasional Saturday as well.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL (required)
Clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to safely load, secure, and unload freight
Experience with flatbed and load securement preferred
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Must meet all DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing requirements

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with dry van and/or flatbed hauling (minimum 2 years verifiable experience)
Log hauling experience a plus (but not required)
Strong safety record and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
Haul dry van and flatbed loads; perform occasional log hauling as assigned
Properly secure loads (including tarping and chaining when required)
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
Maintain accurate logs and required documentation (ELD, trip reports, etc.)
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with plant supervision and customers
