About The Position

The DH Pace Company is a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices across the continental United States, specializing in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. Carolina Industrial Systems, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking experienced Commercial Technicians in Raleigh and surrounding areas. Employees will receive training from industry experts to repair automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware. Candidates with backgrounds in construction labor, electrical work, carpentry, product installation and servicing, and mechanic experiences are encouraged to apply, especially those who enjoy challenging themselves and becoming trusted advisors.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least one (1+) year experience in commercial/automatic/entry door industry
• Background in construction labor, electrical work, carpentry, installing and servicing products, and mechanic experiences

Responsibilities

• Repair a wide range of automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors and door hardware
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
