About The Position

Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking a Commercial Door Sales (Business to Business) Representative to join our team of industry professionals. As a Commercial Door Sales Representative ( (Business to Business), your primary responsibility will be to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for our commercial door offerings. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and foremen to provide them with solutions that meet their commercial door needs. This position is ideal for a motivated and self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial or residential door sales
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to costs and pricing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Using lead generation tools, identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiating contact with the general contractor and/or architect to gather project information and provide information on our products and services.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for new construction projects.
  • Complete cost estimates within bid date/time.
  • Present and explain the benefits of our services to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service by following up on leads, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
