Job Summary The Sales Representative is responsible for securing new business and strengthening relationships within an assigned territory. This role serves as a technical consultant to customers, providing expert guidance on products, services, and solutions that meet their operational needs. The Sales Representative develops and grows the territory through proactive outreach, accurate estimating for product installation and repair services. Success in this role requires maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of the company's offerings and delivering exceptional customer support throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of sales principles, customer relationship management, and territory development strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • Skillful proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads, track activity, and generate reports.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term professional relationships with diverse customer types.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of company products, industry standards, and applicable service contract structures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in sales, particularly in industrial, technical, or B2B environments, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the assigned sales territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Serve as a technical consultant, advising customers on product selection, system functionality, and service options.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate estimates.
  • Present, explain, and promote service contracts and maintenance agreements to customers, if applicable.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products, services, and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including service and operations, to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Track sales activity and opportunities using CRM tools and regularly report progress toward sales goals.
