About The Position

Under general supervision, the Building Cleaner performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings. This role is based in a medical facility, so attention to cleanliness, safety, and professionalism is essential.

Requirements

Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Must be 18 years or older and able to successfully pass a background check
Must be reliable, work at a fast pace, and have strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a medical facility environment and following strict cleaning protocols
HS Diploma or GED
Walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lifting up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Commercial cleaning experience is a plus
Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor directions
Follow building or customer-specific COVID protocols

Responsibilities

Arrive on time and ready to perform shift duties
Clean offices and work areas
Empty trash and replace liners
Clean windows and windowsills
Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop floors and stairs
Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring all areas are sanitary, stocked, and ready for use
Maintain clean and organized janitorial closets
Follow all site-specific procedures, including medical facility standards and infection prevention protocols
