Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience with underwriting ABL/ Factoring transactions. Strong understanding of cash flow in essential.
  • Formal bank Credit Training Program or RMA Credit Courses.
  • Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Keen analytical, and decision-making skills are required
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and/or credit analyses, ensuring compliance with internal regulations
  • Conduct initial review of incoming loan packages by determining creditworthiness and compliance
  • Analyze loan files and review loan documents for completeness
  • Analyze financial statements to determine operating trends and viability of businesses.
  • Review tax returns and additional credit information to assess borrower/guarantor net worth and potential
  • Prepare detailed analyses of historical property operations to make informed decisions about future performance.
  • Prepare preliminary and final credit memorandum for presentation to Credit Committee.
  • Research and investigate applicable industry and market data/trends.
  • Coordinate and incorporate 3rd party reports into the credit analysis.
  • Projects loan level cash flows based on potential resolution outcomes.
  • Provide full credit memos containing accurate and complete credit analysis of the loan applicant
  • Analyze applicant's business operations, historical cash flow, balance sheet and financial condition, management structure, collateral, projections, and compare these elements to RMA
  • Prepare approval letters
